Doctor Who SpyFall Review
[Spoilers for Series 12's story Spyfall, both parts]
It’s been over a year and we have Doctor Who back on our screens. And what a premiere that we had for the new year! Two new episodes in less than a week! As this is the first two-part story of the Thirteenth Doctor’s era, I thought it would be best appropriate to have the two episodes together. I had the opportunity of managing to write my notes as I was watching the programs live. It was all the matter of putting them in a way that it makes sense.
I was a fan of series 11. Admittingly there were a couple of things that could have been worked out, but I gave it the benefit of a doubt. I really liked the dynamic of Team Fam, even with the lack of Grace haunting them for the series. But the series was hampered by not having more time for the character and certain stories.
The Story
Team Fam have been called into M16 by Stephen Fry in order to investigate agent deaths worldwide that have something to do with aliens. After heading over a contact The Doctor knew of , the team are all trying to get Barton, the man closest to a lead that they had. Then, the man that was with them for most of the first half, was revealed to be the Master.
