I watched the first season of FleaBag in a week

Spoilers for anyone who’s interested in season 1 of Fleabag, and not just the part with the Hot Priest.

I wanted to find something new when it came to a British TV, I barely got into Downton Abby, based off of a recommendation from someone. The Crown left something to be desired even with Matt Smith as a main cast member for two seasons. I will finish that one, in a decade or so.

I ended up rewatching Miranda and Call the Midwife as of late, both really good shows that one should watch, especially Miranda Hart’s performances in both, and with both having very engaging storylines. Althought in Call the Midwife’s case, it is an unsusal long runner when it comes to British TV. With my lack of access to live British Television, there wasn’t really anything new I could get into.

Until I saw the memes on Tumblr and the articles. The ones about the Hot Priest, because, come on James Moriarty! I completely understand that! I also saw the ones about Fleabag’s jumpsuit as well. It looked nice.

I was thinking about starting in that season. Until I took note of how many episodes that there were for the first season, and the second one with the Hot Priest. When I was growing up with network television and lack of streaming services, I managed to get into a show while they are already deep into the show’s lore. Only rarely, when it came to American Broadcast TV, I got into the first season of a show and being able to stick with it through the show’s run. British…
