Looking At Your City In A Whole New Way

We take things for granted everyday. It happens, life rushes by you quickly.

Yesterday, I had some free time. So, I decided to take the long way to work. On the way there, I spotted this amazing bookstore that I saw per chance, AND I may have spent a hour there trying to find a specific book on writing that turned out to be out of copies. (oh well)

After I’ve managed to indulged myself, I went out to get the bus, turns out that it would have been 20 minutes to catch it. I saw the street name is one of the street names for the major train stations downtown.

So, I did what I haven’t done lately, walk. I walked down that street, hoping to get to the train station. It took me, at best 10 minutes. Wasn’t even tired at the end of it.

I saw a new part of the city I never thought was there. When I go about my day, I usually take two trains, and most of that time I end up writing, or trying in vain not to look at my stats.

After walking down that street, and ending up on a train that lasted about 40 minutes, I found the urge to write.

And not just an article, see. As a person who has been writing for several years…
