April has been an busy month, no less than three days where snow fell over Chicago, 70 degree days that felt like it was summer, and rain.

I always make sure to wear thermal wear, I keep a huge sweater in my locker at work, hand warmers...

"That's Chicago for you!" A saying I hear being tossed around.

It might be, but, sometimes it feels like the winter season is trying to shift. Or there are days being plunk out of winter, being planted in the supposed spring months.

I remember Christmas 2011, around the time I left for Mexico. I remember that day clearly, in part because there was no cloudy weather, or snow or ice. My last day in Chicago, for several years, I had a small hope that the snow would fall, just as I was leaving the city.

Which didn't happen, to no surprise, it felt like early fall that day.

Currently, outside of this cafe where I'm writing from, it's snowing, and it doesn't look like it's slowing down.

I dressed like I was heading out for spring weather, which is perfectly fine, if I woke up yesterday.
