It’s a victory all things considered.

On June 20th 2020, after having to reschedule the date due to it falling on Juneteeth, Donald Trump had a campaign rally in Tulsa, after having had over 1,000,000 confirmed tickets for the venue. Only the numbers in attendance didn’t reflect that. 19,000 in attendance, a sizeable number. I have seen “small” Youtube creators have more than that in their videos.

It turns out instead, from the chatter on social media, that Tik Tok creators banded together in order to artificially inflate the number for the rally. Enough so that there was added outdoor venues in order to accommodate the large crowd.

Now, while I think this line of thinking is a bit optimistic; there could have been a number of reasons as to why the number was lower. Like or not, we are still in a pandemic. And, unlike the president, there are some people who are on his side that would like to protect others and stop themselves from becoming infected.

But, I would like to believe that all these people, these young adults, wanted to make a change. And it worked to the point that only 2 percent of the audience were there.

I think the kids are going to be alright.
